Local Public Health Cares (LPH Cares) is a collaborative communications effort by all health departments in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula - the U.P. Local Public Health Partnership.

The Partnership’s mission is to bring a local focus back to public health, ensuring all in the region have access to health and wellness services.

The collaboration includes the Chippewa County Health Department, the Dickinson-Iron District Health Department, the LMAS District Health Department, the Marquette County Health Department, Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties, and the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department.

Together, they are working to:

  • Rebuild confidence and trust in local public health;

  • Raise awareness and promote the importance of public health throughout the Upper Peninsula;

  • Strengthen the impact of health department initiatives and programs.

Whether you are a child, adult, senior, or part of a vulnerable population, your local public health department is dedicated to improving the well-being for all.

Thank you for visiting LPHCares.com, where we make public health more accessible and personal in the U.P.

Sincerely,

The U.P. Local Public Health Partnership
